Keeping client information safeguarded
is the top priority for all of us here
at Aequor Funding Corp. This notice is
being provided in conjunction with your
application for a home mortgage loan.
This notice will detail how we safeguard
the personal information that was
collected about you during the course of
your client relationship with us even
after you are no longer a client.
We have implemented procedures to
prevent unauthorized access to your
client information. These standards and
procedures include physically,
electronically and procedurally
protecting your information in a manner
that meets or exceeds those required by
law. Employee access to your information
is strictly limited to those individuals
with a business reason in conjunction
with processing your mortgage
application. Our employees are
consistently trained on our privacy and
confidentiality policies and procedures
and any employee who violates our
guidelines will have their employment
terminated immediately.
In conjunction with your loan
application, we will have to collect
information from not only yourself but
other sources as well. This information
is collected to verify your identity, to
understand what your financial needs may
be, to conclude what type of mortgage
loan products you are requesting or may
qualify for and to comply with laws and
regulations concerning your privacy. The
information collected from your loan
application will provide us with your
name, address, social security number,
income, assets and liabilities. We will
also collect information about you from
third parties that you have had a
customer relationship with such as,
previous creditors. This will provide us
information pertaining to your account
balances, loan payment history and
credit card balances. We also receive
credit reports with your authorization
from consumer reporting agencies in
regards to your credit worthiness. We
may conduct employment verification and
salary history from your employer,
Finally, information may be obtained
from public sources such as government
records.
Your personal information will only be
shared with the mortgage lender(s) we
represent and only for the purpose of
processing your loan application for
approval. We will not share or disclose
any non-public personal information that
we have obtained about you to any other
third parties, unless we are compelled
to do so under the law. Even when you
are no longer a client of Aequor Funding
Corp. this privacy policy and all other
safeguarding guidelines will remain in
effect with your respect to your
personal information, files and records.
